NOW ACCEPTING SPEAKER PROPOSALS FOR 2009 in SAN FRANCISCO, CA & HOUSTON, TX
The Green ACTION Summit is designed to educate attendees on why green building matters to the commercial building industry and provide useful tools for saving energy, building sustainably and reducing carbon emissions in existing and newly constructed buildings.
The conference audience consists of professionals in commercial real estate, construction, development, facility management and building maintenance. Owners, managers, contractors, engineers and suppliers will gain an understanding of how sustainable building affects their bottom line and will learn real-world strategies for reducing emissions and saving energy.
The conference organizing committee seeks presentations related to the following topics:
• Strategies on reducing a buildings' carbon footprint
• Energy savings and conservation methods related to water, alternative power, lighting, insulation and HVAC
• Innovative tools for sustainable building operations
• Case studies of building construction and renovation with significant energy savings
Presentations will range from thirty minutes to one-hour and need to be informative, educational and entertaining. Commercial presentations focused solely on a proprietary product are not allowed, though an opportunity to exhibit your products and services will be possible. As a speaker, you will gain access to a host of industry leaders and professionals, as well as full access to the remainder of the conference seminars and events free of charge. Exhibit tables will be available for an additional charge.
We are currently planning events in San Francisco, CA in late January 2009 and Houston, Texas in March 2009. If you are interested in being a speaker at The Green ACTION Summit, please email your name, company information, a PowerPoint presentation of previous work, and the topic you would like to present to greenactionsummit@thedatabridge.com. If your presentation is reviewed and selected, you will be required to provide a PowerPoint presentation which you will use at the conference and which will be distributed in .pdf format to attendees. The final presentation must be submitted within one month of the event.
